How to Cook pierogi
Boiling frozen pierogi
- Boil 5 quarts of water
- Add 2 teaspoons of salt
- Place pierogi in boiling water
- Once they float, set a timer for 2 minutes
- After 2 minutes have passed, remove pierogi and place on a plate or tray
- Keep them separated as they will stick together when hot and wet. Top them with your favorite toppings and enjoy!
Frying pierogi
- Heat a saute pan on medium heat
- Add butter or olive oil
- Fry pierogi on each side until golden brown
- Enjoy
optional toppings
- For savory pierogi, top with sour cream, caramelized onions, and/or bacon bits
- For dessert pierogi, top with sour cream or sweet cream

Yukon gold potato, farmers cheese (2% milk), caramelized onion (onion & butter), salt, pepper

Sauerkraut, mushroom, caramelized onion (onion & butter), salt, pepper
chicken & beef filling
Chicken, beef, onion, carrot, leek, parsley root, all spice, bay leaf, salt, pepper
Chorizo & Potato filling
Mexican Chorizo, Yukon Gold Potatoes, salt, pepper
